Description
Self-supporting insulated wires are multi-core wires for overhead transmission lines for rated voltage of up to 1 kV AC. Self-supporting insulated wires can be of the following types:Wire type Brief structure description СИП-1 Aluminum round multi-wire compacted conductors insulated with light-stabilized XLPE are twisted around the uninsulated zero multi-wire compacted aluminum alloy carrier.
СИП-2 Aluminum round multi-wire compacted conductors insulated with light-stabilized XLPE are twisted around the uninsulated zero multi-wire compacted aluminum alloy carrier insulated with light-stabilized XLPE.
СИП-4 Aluminum round multi-wire compacted conductors insulated with light-stabilized XLPE are twisted together (without zero carrier).
-
Structure
Aluminum current-carrying single-wire and multi-wire conductors, PVC insulation, filled with uncured rubber mixture, PVC outer sheath.
-
Structural characteristics
1. Wires can be manufactured with additional sealing elements.
2. СИП-1 and СИП-2 type wires with zero carrier of 50 mm or more can be manufactured with 1, 2 or 3 additional auxiliary conductors intended for lighting or control.
-
Operational characteristics
Permissible ambient temperature for wire operation -60°C +50°C Permissible ambient temperature during laying and installation not lower than -20°С Minimum laying temperature without heating -15°С Permissible bending radius of wires during installation and installed on supports is not less than 10D where D is the wire outer diameter.
