We invest significant funds in the new equipment that allows us ensuring a high level of production process, materials and products. Quality is an integral part of the overall business culture in our company.

Завод УгличКабель

The Uglichcable plant (city of Uglich, Yaroslavl Region) is one of the most advanced cable industry enterprises in Russia. It was built from scratch by Nexans, one of the world leaders in the cable industry, and put into operation in November 2008. Following the reorganization in 2016, Impex Electro, LLC, has become the plant management company. Currently, Uglichcable plant produces series of low and medium voltage wires and cables with PVC, XLPE, ethylene-propylene rubber insulation, armored cables, fireproof and flame-retardant cables and other special-purpose cables as per the Russian and international standards.

A testing laboratory has been established at the plant for the purpose of constant control over the quality of products. The laboratory possesses all required test and measuring equipment, as well as the sample preparation equipment for the incoming inspection of raw products and materials. The plant electrical laboratory was one of the first registered in the Central Office of the Federal Service for Environmental, Process and Nuclear Supervision. The integrated quality management system of the enterprise is certified for compliance with the requirements of GOST R ISO 9001, GOST R ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001:2007.

High quality of products, personnel qualification and general level of arranging the main and auxiliary production processes allowed the enterprise obtaining licenses for the design and fabrication of equipment for nuclear power stations.

The aspiration for continuous improvement of planning, production and customer interaction processes has provided the plant in Uglich with the reputation of the reliable and responsible manufacturer and supplier of cable products both in and outside Russia.
